Conclusion
Users looking for a no-frills keyboard will definitely want to check out the MasterKeys L and S keyboards from Cooler Master. Not only have they left out the RGB madness, they’ve added in some PBT keycaps to compliment the solid build quality these keyboards have to offer! Coming with Cherry MX switches and some hot swappable ‘Gaming’ keycaps, Cooler Master has done a great job at giving us a decently priced Keyboard that performs well without all the extra and sometimes unnecessary features. The all black and simplistic design means that these keyboards will fit in well in a home, gaming or even office environment which is always an added bonus.
I’ve got to say, as much as I am personally a fan of RGB LEDs, it is great to see a new product that does not feature them. Not everyone is after all the flash and bling that is in a lot of today’s market. Also, who wants to pay extra for a feature they most likely will not use? Major props to Cooler Master for focusing on performance and function rather than aesthetics. In saying that, these keyboards do still look amazing so don’t worry about that. Cooler Master has been around for some time now and they surely have not let us down here!
When all is said and done, Cooler Master knew exactly what they were doing when the released the PBT versions of the MasterKeys L and S keyboards. No fancy gimmicks here but if you want a great keyboard that performs well and comes boasting Cherry MX switches and PBT keycaps, then look no further as Cooler Master have you covered!
