Insomnia is one of the biggest gaming events in UK period, whether you are there for the BYOC/C LAN, to see Exhibitors or partake in the other things going on, it can be a good time. They have some different food vendors around, plenty of beer and alcohol and for the less technically inclined, they have a retro and board gaming area. I attended on the Friday and have to say, I quite enjoyed it, while I missed the rush of YouTubers and other things on Saturday, it seems I may have lucked out.
There was just so much going on, I didn’t have time to cover it all as I was also there doing press for Plexus Hub but I did manage to get some pics for you all to enjoy! Have a look below at all of the photos and hopefully I will be able to make I56 in Birmingham and get better coverage for you all!
Random
Just a couple random photos from around the arena showcasing some of the exhibitors hall.
Retro and Tabletop Gaming
For those looking to kick it back Ol’ Skool, or those who would rather play with a dice over a controller, there was a nice Retro and Tabletop gaming tent there to enjoy
Stages
There were a few stages where some great events took place. From Q&A’s to YouTubes competing against each other for all to watch, the stages were definitely one of the main attractions for the event.
Overclockers UK
Overclockers UK were on hand and not only did they have an amazing booth, they did their famous deliver to your desk service. This service allows you to order from their website and have things delivered right to your seat at the Insomnia Gaming Festival, first class services at its finest!
Enough of that though, let’s look at some of the amazing PC’s they had on display!
Inwin
Inwin was on hand with some sweet custom PC’s including from davido_labido and, of course, they had their new transforming H-Tower on display as well!
Alphacool
Alphacool were on hand with a wide range of Water Cooling goodies for all to check out!
All in all, I quite enjoyed my day there and wished I could have stayed the weekend to enjoy things such as Pub Quiz and really seeing everything come together on Saturday! The next I series event is going to take place in December in Birmingham as they need a bigger arena to host it all!
