G.SKILL unleashes powerful 256GB DDR5 memory kits
G.SKILL has officially announced its latest high-capacity DDR5 memory kits, now available in retail. These new kits feature massive 64GB modules, bringing users up to 256GB (64GB x4) total memory, with speeds up to DDR5-6000 CL32. Aimed at professionals, creators, AI users, and heavy multitaskers, this release offers an ideal balance of speed, low latency, and capacity.
The top-spec kit features DDR5-6000 CL32-44-44-96 timing with a total of 256GB, using four 64GB sticks. For users who want faster speeds with slightly less capacity, G.SKILL also introduced a DDR5-6400 CL36-44-44-102 kit with 128GB (64GB x2) total.
The new kits are built using high-density IC chips, which means they require a BIOS update (2025 or newer) for proper compatibility. These kits are optimized for both AMD and Intel DDR5 platforms. The 256GB kits support AMD EXPO, making them a perfect fit for Ryzen desktop systems. The 128GB kit is Intel XMP-validated, great for content creation and demanding tasks.
These new memory kits will be available under G.SKILL’s popular Trident Z5 Neo RGB and Flare X5 series. They not only offer strong performance but also a stylish look for gaming and workstation setups.
