Razer reveals powerful BlackShark V3 Pro headset for esports
Razer, a leader in gaming gear, has launched the BlackShark V3 Pro—a wireless headset built for competitive gaming. Designed for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, it offers super-low audio delay, clear mic quality, and platform-specific sound tuning.
Faster wireless with Gen-2 HyperSpeed
The BlackShark V3 Pro is the first headset to use Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2. It brings ultra-fast audio with just 10 ms latency, making it 33% quicker than many other top headsets. This gives players an edge in fast-paced games.
Clear voice with pro-grade mic
The headset features a 12 mm detachable microphone with studio-level voice pickup. It uses a unidirectional pattern to cut out background noise, ensuring teammates hear every call clearly.

Block noise with Hybrid ANC
For the first time, a BlackShark headset includes Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation. Four built-in mics block outside sounds, helping gamers stay focused. Soft memory foam ear cushions and a closed-back design add to the comfort and noise isolation.
Sharper sound with new drivers
The BlackShark V3 Pro comes with TriForce Bio-Cellulose Drivers. These 50 mm drivers provide clean and detailed sound. A new design reduces sound distortion by 50% and increases magnet strength, improving direction-based audio for games.
Immersive THX 7.1.4 surround for PC
The PC version supports THX Spatial Audio with 7.1.4 channels, adding four virtual overhead speakers. This helps players hear sounds not just around them, but also above—useful for tracking enemies in 3D space.

Built with help from pro players
Razer worked with esports stars like NiKo and Shotzzy to fine-tune the headset. NiKo praised the headset for helping him hear small sounds like reloads and footsteps. Shotzzy said the audio and mic clarity helped him stay focused in tournaments.
Razer BlackShark V3 ProTuned for every platform
Each version of the BlackShark V3 Pro is made to match its system:
- PC: Includes THX 7.1.4 audio for clear surround sound.
- PlayStation: Supports Tempest 3D Audio for detailed sound.
- Xbox: Uses Windows Sonic for spatial audio support.
The headset offers four ways to connect: 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, USB-A, and 3.5 mm jack. It also supports dual wireless connections, so gamers can stay on a call while gaming.
Plug and play EQ settings
The headset includes 12 ready-made EQ profiles for popular shooter games and can store up to 9 custom profiles directly on the headset.
More options in the BlackShark V3 lineup
Razer also released two more models:
- BlackShark V3 – Features Gen-2 titanium drivers, THX Audio, and a wide-band mic.
- BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed – A budget-friendly wireless option with 7.1 Surround and a cardioid mic.
With the BlackShark V3 series, Razer continues to lead in competitive gaming audio—giving players the clarity, speed, and comfort they need to stay ahead.
