HAVN reveals powerful and ultra quiet XR 1000W Platinum power supply at CES
HAVN has officially announced its first high end power supply unit, the XR 1000W Platinum A++, during CES. This new power supply is designed for users who want strong, stable, and very quiet power for modern gaming and performance PCs.
The XR Series is built with one clear goal in mind. HAVN wants to offer a modern power supply that delivers steady power, low noise, and high efficiency. The company worked with experienced industry experts to shape both the internal design and the overall performance of the unit.
According to Roland Gschwender, Product Manager at HAVN, the XR Series shows the company’s vision for a premium power supply. He explained that the focus was on silent operation, strong stability, and platinum level efficiency, even when the system is under heavy load. HAVN tested the unit in its own lab and also used independent testing results to improve the final design.
The HAVN XR 1000W Platinum A++ follows the latest ATX 3.1 standard, making it ready for next generation hardware. It includes a 12V 2×6 dual connector, which helps deliver clean and stable power to powerful graphics cards and multi core processors.
Cooling is another strong point of this power supply. It uses a fully decoupled H Series fan along with a solid aluminium top cover. The airflow path is carefully shaped so air moves smoothly toward the fan blades, helping keep temperatures low while reducing noise.
Noise levels are kept extremely low, staying under 15 dB during normal use. Because of this, the power supply has received a Cybenetics A++ noise rating. This makes it a good choice for users who want a quiet PC, especially for gaming or creative work.
Power stability is also well handled. The XR 1000W shows very low voltage changes during sudden load spikes. This is important for modern graphics cards that can draw power very quickly. The 12V rail remains stable, helping protect expensive components.
The power supply also includes an efficient standby rail. It supports modern low power states, which helps reduce energy waste when the system is idle or in standby mode.

HAVN has confirmed that the XR 1000W Platinum A++ power supply will be available worldwide in Q2 or Q3. It will be sold through selected retail stores and system builders.
