Acer Predator PALLAS II DDR5 6000MHz Memory Review

Acer Predator PALLAS II DDR5 6000MHz Memory Review

ACER is one of those companies that has been around for as long as I can remember. Like many others, over the years, they have diversified their products, giving more to their customers and ensuring that the ACER name is still around. One of the products that have put their name on in recent times is RAM, and let me tell you, it was a well-worth venture.

Today, we are going to be taking a look at the ACER PREDATOR Pallas II memory. This 32GB kit comes to us with a 600MHz clock speed with a CAS Latency (CL) of 32. It comes in both black and silver and best of all, there is no RGB on it! While I do like RGB, it is nice to see some companies still offer products without it, especially in 2025.

At the time of review, this 32GB kit can be purchased on AMAZON UK for £104.99 for the CL30 kit. The CL34 Kit can be purchased for £90 for a 32GB kit.

Closer Look

While there may not be any RGB when it comes to the Pallas II Memory, it still looks absolutely amazing. The heatsink is big enough to help keep things cool while not too big as to interfere with cooling options, hopefully. The heatsink is only a couple

The PREDATOR logo and wording is dominant in the middle of the heatsinks in a tasteful way. It’s not overly flashy or in your face, ACER seems to have gone with a more subtle design with its Pallas II RAM.

The kit we have is 32GB (16 GBx2) 6000MHz CL32-38-38-76 @ 1.35V. You will notice on the sticker that it says it is AMD E.X.P.O Ready, and while it is, it also has support for Intel’s XMP 3.0 specification. So yes, it can be used on both AMD and Intel systems without any issues. Of course, you will want to make sure it is on the compatible lists for your CPU and motherboard but you shouldn’t have any issues in most cases.

Looking down from the top and it has a flat black aluminum design. There are no crazy designs, logos, or lights here, just a simplistic look that adds a bit of elegance or stealth to your PC build. I know I keep saying it, but it is nice to see someone take it back to the basics, and keep things looking clean and fresh!

Installing these in your PC takes mere seconds, and while we will take a look at the performance shortly, the looks are equally important. Long gone are the days when people bought green RAM sticks and put a side panel on their PC so you couldn’t see inside. Nope, now these days the looks are what a lot of people focus on the most,t and the ACER PREDATOR Pallas II is definitely a good-looking kit of RAM!

Testing

The following system has been used for testing:
*Note – where applicable, all components are run at their stock settings.

The below CPU-Z and BIOS readouts are to confirm components used and that the Pallas II kit is running at the states speeds and timings.

Benchmark Results

At this time, we have no comparisons for the Pallas II kit of RAM. However, in the near future when we do have comparison graphs, we will come back an update this section accordingly.

3DMARK Time Spy

While this may not be a memory specifica benchmark, it is run in a lot of memory testing to show how different kits of RAM can effect CPU and GPU scores. While the differences may not be massive, it is still worth seeing which memory performs the best.

AIDA64 Enigineer

The AID64 suite of test is one of the most well known memory tests around. I have been using it for as long as I can remember.

Read Speed – 91,850 MB/s – The higher the number the better

Write Speed – 83,712 MB/s – The higher the number the better

Memory Copy – 84,723 MB/s – The higher the number the better.

Memory Latency – 67.7 ns – The lower the number the better

SiSoftware Sandra

Cache & Memory Bandwidth 1.07TB/s – Higher score mean better performance

Memory Transaction Throughput 9.57MTPS – Lower score means better performance

Final Words

The ACER PREDATOR Pallas II RAM has undergone our testing procedure and has now come out the other side. The kit features support for both Intel XMP and AMD E.X.P.O and while I only tested it on an Intel system, I can confirm the AMD settings work and were able to boot up on my 7850X3D CPU without an issue.

One of the best aspects of the Pallas II is it’s elegant and classy look that would also match nicely in a stealh build. While ACER does have some RGB RAM, they have offered the Pallas II in black and silver colors with no RGB. This, as mentioned, is amazing to see! RGB is fun but sometimes you just need a high-quality kit of RAM that looks great on its own without flashy lights.

The performance on offer is right where we would expect it to be. While there are no other comparisons in the review, I have checked it against other RAM in the same system and the numbers are very close! As I have more results to compare, I will make sure to come back and update this section and the above with some graphs. Worry not, the performance is exactly what you would expect from a 6000MHz CL32 kit of DDR5.

The ACER PREDATOR Pallas II comes with a limited lifetime warranty so there is nothing to worry about! You will likely sell this RAM second hand to upgrade your PC well before it stops working! Those lifetime warranties speak highly of the faith the manufacturers have in its products and ACER has come through in this regard.

The ACER PREDATOR Pallas II is going to find itself sitting pretty in my 13700KF test bench for some time now along with the ACER PREDATOR GM7000 SSD – a match made in heaven as they say! IF you are in the market for some new DDR5 and this comes across yrou path, don’t be afraid to pick it up and make the most of what it has to offer! The pricing seems to be right where we would expect it as well, so if you can find a deal on it, it will only sweeten the deal even further for you.
