GMKtec proudly reveals powerful EVO T2 mini PC with Panther Lake at CES 2026
GMKtec is getting ready to make a strong impact at CES 2026 with its new EVO T2 mini PC. The company has confirmed that this compact system will be the main highlight of its booth, powered by Intel’s latest Panther Lake processor. This move shows GMKtec’s focus on high performance, smart computing, and modern AI features in a small PC body.

The EVO T2 was first seen late last year during a technology event held in China. At that time, GMKtec shared early details about the system using a Panther Lake based mobile processor. Now, the company has officially confirmed that the final version will use the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor, which is expected to be the strongest option in this series.

This processor comes with 16 cores and is designed for demanding work. GMKtec is positioning the EVO T2 as a serious competitor to top mobile chips from other brands. Even though the system is small, it is built to handle heavy tasks like creative work, AI tools, and advanced software without slowing down.
At CES 2026, GMKtec plans to show live demo units of the EVO T2. These systems will be running AI applications and high resolution creative programs. The goal is to show how the mini PC performs in real life use, not just on paper. Visitors will be able to see how fast and smooth the system works during everyday and professional tasks.
GMKtec will also take part in joint sessions with Intel during the event. These talks will focus on edge AI solutions and how mini PCs can be used for smart and lightweight computing. According to the company, the EVO T2 can run advanced AI tasks directly on the device, without always needing cloud support. This makes it useful for creators, developers, and users who want fast and private AI processing.
With the EVO T2, GMKtec is clearly aiming to push mini PCs to the next level. By combining a powerful Panther Lake processor with AI focused features in a small form factor, the company wants to show that compact systems can still deliver serious performance. CES 2026 will be the first big stage where the EVO T2 proves what it can really do.
