Huawei Pura 80 Series: Expected Launch and Key Features
Huawei has yet to officially confirm the launch date for the Huawei Pura 80 Series. Reports from industry insiders suggest that the new lineup could be released by the end of June.

Leaked information indicates that the Pura 80 series will introduce significant advancements in its imaging system, aligning with earlier speculation about Huawei incorporating proprietary sensor technology.
Specifically, the Huawei Pura 80 Series Ultra is rumored to move away from the Sony IMX989 sensor, used in the previous generation, and adopt a new sensor model, SC5A0CS. This sensor is reported to offer a resolution of 50 megapixels, a large 1-inch size, and utilize Huawei’s RYYB color filter technology.
Furthermore, the series may also feature a new telephoto sensor, boasting 50 megapixels and a 1/1.3-inch size, enhancing the overall camera performance.
While these sensors are not solely manufactured by Huawei, the company has played a major role in their development, incorporating a range of its in-house innovations.
Sources also claim that the Huawei Pura 80 Series will deliver a substantial upgrade in video capabilities, particularly in terms of image stabilization and smoothness, offering users a more seamless recording experience.
Based on the product lineup of the previous Pura 70 series, it is expected that Huawei will offer several variants of the Pura 80, including the base model, Pura 80 Pro, Pura 80 Pro+, and the high-end Pura 80 Ultra.
Pricing is projected to start above $694.99, with premium models possibly exceeding $1,389.99.
