NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 8GB Graphics Card to Debut on July 1st

The launch of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 8GB graphics card, initially expected late next month, has been rescheduled. According to MEGAsizeGPU, the release date has been moved to July 1. However, this appears to be a paper launch, as no AIB partners will be able to ship the product immediately, with actual availability likely pushed to mid- or late July, aligning with the original timeline.

What NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 brings to the table

Regarding its features, the RTX 5050 will target the entry-level market, priced roughly between $199 and $249, just below the RTX 5060 at $299. It will compete with Intel’s Arc B580 12GB and Arc B570 10GB models, priced at $219 and $249, respectively.

In terms of specifications, the NVIDIA RTX 5050 will feature the GB207 GPU—the smallest in the Blackwell gaming series—with 2,560 cores, matching the RTX 3050 but built on a new Blackwell architecture. The GPU will be on the PG152-SKU50 PCB, paired with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 128-bit bus. Recent reports indicate the memory modules will operate at 20 Gbps, offering a bandwidth of 320 GB/s.
