Sapphire launches stunning PURE B650M WIFI “polar white” motherboard in China
Sapphire Technology has officially introduced a new addition to its growing motherboard lineup — the PURE B650M WIFI. Announced late last week, this “polar white” microATX motherboard has been designed to complement Sapphire’s similarly themed graphics cards. In fact, one promotional image showed the new motherboard sitting alongside the company’s PURE Radeon RX 7900 XT, creating an attractive all-white setup.
Sapphire’s move into the motherboard market is still relatively fresh. Last year, they made headlines with the launch of the premium NITRO+ B650M WIFI, followed by the release of a B850-based successor in China just over two months ago. In mid-April, they also previewed a more affordable option, the PULSE A620AM WIFI. With the PURE B650M WIFI, Sapphire appears to be focusing on the mid-range segment, offering a balance between performance and stylish aesthetics.
The PURE B650M WIFI features a simple yet elegant design, according to a post on Sapphire’s official Weibo account. The company described it as “simple and stylish,” noting that both the printed circuit board (PCB) and the heatsinks avoid overly complex designs. Instead, the board emphasises a clean look that recalls ASRock’s popular compact Steel Legend series.
Despite its modest and clean appearance, the PURE B650M WIFI is packed with solid technical features. It is built with a 12+2+1 power phase design, providing reliable power delivery for modern CPUs. The power management is handled by a RT3678BE PWM controller, while the motherboard uses DrMOS modules from ALPHA & OMEGA with the part code EX00. Although this part was not immediately listed on official websites, Sapphire confirmed that it is the AOZ5510QI, a 55A DrMOS chip. Thanks to this robust setup, the board is reportedly capable of driving high-end processors like AMD’s Ryzen 9000X3D series without any trouble.
Several regional reviewers have already received early samples of the PURE B650M WIFI, suggesting that launch preparations are underway. However, as of now, Sapphire has not officially announced a retail release date for the Chinese market.
Sapphire PURE B650M WIFI motherboard availability
With its clean white look and strong technical foundation, the PURE B650M WIFI seems like an appealing choice for gamers and PC builders looking for a compact and stylish AMD platform. It will be interesting to see if Sapphire plans to extend its availability to markets outside China in the near future.
