Cooler Master HAF II 500 Launches as New High-Airflow Flagship PC Case
A next-generation HAF case built to reinforce Cooler Master’s thermal authority with stronger cooling, lower noise, and greater flexibility for high-performance systems.
Cooler Master, a global leader in innovative thermal solutions and PC hardware, today announced the Cooler Master HAF II 500, a new high-end airflow case designed to push cooling performance forward while delivering a quieter, more flexible building experience.
The HAF II 500 carries forward Cooler Master’s thermal expertise by combining two benefits that often compete in PC case design: stronger cooling and lower operating noise. Featuring a purpose-built thermal architecture powered by oversized extra-thick fans, along with a layout optimized for high-performance hardware and cleaner cable routing, the case helps users get more from modern gaming, creative, and compute-intensive systems.

At the center of the HAF II 500 is an uncommon fan configuration for the consumer PC case market. Two 220 × 40 mm intake fans work alongside a 180 × 40 mm exhaust fan to create a more balanced airflow system that delivers quieter cooling performance. By moving more air efficiently, the HAF II 500 helps reduce component temperatures without forcing users to trade noise for thermal headroom.

To support this thermal design, the Cooler Master HAF II 500 uses a split-level layout that improves internal space utilization while maintaining chassis dimensions. This structure creates more effective zones for cooling hardware, routing cables, and supporting flexible component configurations. The case also continues Cooler Master’s user-focused building philosophy with adaptable mounting options for cooling hardware and support for a wide range of GPU and storage configurations.

“The HAF series has always represented Cooler Master’s thermal authority,” said Gustavo Chiu, co-CEO of Cooler Master. “With the HAF II 500, we designed around rethinking airflow balance, internal layout, and builder flexibility. The result is a case that feels true to HAF while delivering a more advanced experience for today’s systems.”
The Cooler Master HAF II 500 has an official retail price of $199.99 and will be available in the MEA region soon. Availability may vary by region, and users are advised to check with local Cooler Master partners for more information.
Cooler Master HAF II 500 Key Features
Oversized Extra-Thick Fans
The intake and exhaust system uses two Mighty40 F220 intake fans (220 × 40 mm) to deliver high intake airflow quietly. The Mighty40 V180 exhaust fan (180 × 40 mm) efficiently moves air out of the case, reducing a common bottleneck that can limit high-airflow case designs.
Smooth Airflow Design
Large front and rear ventilation openings help reduce airflow resistance, allowing the fans to operate more efficiently.
Split-Level Cable Management
Split-level cable management creates dedicated routing space based on the thickness and volume of cables. This makes room for an oversized exhaust fan without increasing the overall chassis size.
MasterRail Mounting System
MasterRail uses sliding rails and locking modules to support multiple fan and radiator sizes while keeping airflow paths clear. It can also hold devices that use standard fan or radiator mounting points.
Sliding Cable Cover
The integrated Sliding Cable Cover hides cables inside the centralized routing chamber and matches the motherboard area for a cleaner finished build. Its design also helps reduce cable-related airflow disruption without compromising memory cooling.
Dual-Mode GPU Holder
The Dual-Mode GPU Holder gives users the flexibility to secure a single GPU or support two GPUs. In dual-GPU configurations, each graphics card can be up to 3.6 slots (72 mm) thick.
GPU-Focused Airflow Divider
The Airflow Divider splits air from the lower intake fan into two paths. One directs airflow toward a standalone GPU, while the other guides air toward the drive cage and PCIe area.
