Seasonic intros 30 mm thick MAXFlow 120 mm fan series for powerful PC cooling
Seasonic has officially launched its latest MAXFlow 120 mm cooling fan series, designed to deliver stronger airflow and better cooling performance thanks to a thicker 30 mm profile. Unlike standard 25 mm fans, the new MAXFlow offers a deeper structure that helps boost pressure and airflow, making it a strong option for high-performance builds.
The new MAXFlow fan measures 120 mm x 120 mm x 30 mm and uses a reverse fan design with arc-shaped blades. This unique design allows for improved airflow while maintaining structural stability. The fan also comes with a reinforced frame and noise-dampening pads at the corners to reduce vibrations and lower noise levels.
Seasonic has packed this fan with high-quality Japanese NMB ball bearings, rated for a long lifespan of up to 70,000 hours. It runs on DC power ranging from 9.5 V to 13.8 V and reaches speeds up to 3300 RPM. At its top performance setting, the fan can push a massive 154.85 CFM of airflow with a strong static pressure of 8.5 mm-H₂O, making it ideal for dense radiators and airflow-restricted cases.
However, at full speed, the noise level can go as high as 46.60 dB(A), which may be noticeable in quieter setups. To help balance performance and acoustics, Seasonic includes a built-in three-speed selector switch. This allows users to easily choose between:
- Quiet mode: up to 1000 RPM
- Balanced mode: up to 2000 RPM
- Performance mode: up to 3300 RPM
This flexibility gives users the choice to optimise for silence or full cooling power, depending on their setup and needs.
The MAXFlow 120 mm fans are available in both black and white colour options, catering to various PC themes. Buyers can choose a single fan or a triple-pack bundle. The triple-pack includes a handy 3-to-1 PWM extension cable, which makes it easier to connect all three fans to a single motherboard header for synchronised control.

While exact pricing and release dates are still under wraps, Seasonic has stated that the MAXFlow 120 series will launch at an “affordable price point.” The fans are also backed by a 5-year warranty, showing the company’s confidence in their build quality and durability.
