Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered delivers pure joy for fans, with stunning levels, classic skaters, and killer soundtrack
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered is set to launch on July 11, bringing a wave of nostalgia and excitement to fans around the world. Available on Xbox, Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch — with day-one access via Game Pass—the remastered bundle revives two of the most beloved entries in the series with upgraded visuals, new content, and smoother gameplay than ever before.
Developed by Iron Galaxy, this remaster isn’t just a fresh coat of paint. Classic levels like Foundry, Canada, Suburbia, and San Francisco have been rebuilt from the ground up, capturing the unique feel of each location while enhancing detail and performance. Subtle touches, like the haunted house in Suburbia or the fiery pits of Foundry, remain intact, but now look sharper and more immersive than ever.
One of the biggest new additions is the Waterpark level—set in the Mojave Desert and inspired by real-life skate sessions in abandoned waterparks from Tony Hawk’s youth. This level offers a fun mix of empty pools, massive tubes, arcade secrets, and creative challenges. Whether you’re grinding the Bowl Slide or looping through the Funnel Slide, the level encourages creativity and flow.

The gameplay still feels like the perfect blend of rhythm, memory, and skill. It plays almost like a fighting game on wheels—pulling off a chain of tricks with timed button presses and directional flicks. With a responsive control system and near-instant respawns, it’s easy to keep trying until you land that perfect combo. Whether you’re grinding rails or flying off half-pipes, every trick you land feels earned.
Veteran skaters and newcomers alike will enjoy the large roster of real-life pros, from legends like Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, and Eric Koston, to new icons like Rayssa Leal and Yuto Horigome. Each skater comes with stats that reflect their style. You’ll also be able to create your own skater—though this feature wasn’t available in the preview build.

Adding to the authentic feel is the killer soundtrack. From Motorhead and Run-D.M.C. to Idles, Thee Oh Sees, and Fontaines D.C., the mix of classic and modern punk, hip-hop, and rock tunes helps capture the energy of real-life skating. For many, the Tony Hawk games were just as much about discovering new bands as they were about landing the perfect line—and this new remaster keeps that tradition alive.
Bam Margera also makes a comeback as a secret playable character, adding another layer of surprise and fan service for longtime players.
With dozens of challenges per level—ranging from collecting the letters of “S-K-A-T-E” to discovering hidden paths and massive air spots—there’s no shortage of content to keep players coming back. An in-depth tutorial narrated by Tony Hawk himself makes it easy for newcomers to learn the ropes or for returning fans to sharpen their skills.
