ASRock launches safe and powerful L-shaped GPU cable

ASRock has launched a new L-shaped 12V-2×6 GPU power cable that focuses on both safety and better cable management. This right-angled connector is made for gamers and PC builders who want a neat look inside their system while also keeping their graphics card safe from power issues.

The cable is 700 mm long, fully sleeved in black, and has ASRock’s classic green tips that help users easily check if the connector is fully plugged in. It follows the ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, which makes it ready for the latest generation of graphics cards. Built with strong 16 AWG wires, the cable can handle up to 600 W of power, but ASRock recommends it for systems with power supplies of at least 750 W.

One of the main highlights is its overheating protection. The cable comes with an NTC temperature sensor that can detect heat changes. When paired with Taichi or Phantom Gaming power supplies, this feature helps protect the system by reducing risks of overheating.

To match different builds, ASRock includes stickers for Taichi, Phantom Gaming, and Steel Legend themes. The company also offers a two-year warranty for the cable, giving buyers peace of mind.

ASRock has reminded users to follow GPU maker guidelines, always push connectors in until they click, and avoid bending the cable too close to the plug. These steps help ensure stable power delivery and longer cable life.

ASRock gpu power cable price and availability

The ASRock gpu cable is priced at around $40 (about 5,980 yen in Japan), which makes it more expensive than many standard options. However, with its strong build, added safety, and clean design, it could be a worthwhile choice for users who want both style and protection in their gaming PCs.
