Gigabyte launches powerful AORUS MASTER 16 gaming laptop with AI features
Gigabyte has officially announced the availability of the new AORUS MASTER 16 (2026) gaming laptop. The latest flagship laptop combines high-end gaming power, AI features, and a slim portable design aimed at gamers and creators.
The AORUS MASTER 16 is just 19 mm thin but packs desktop-level hardware inside. It features up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. The laptop is designed to handle modern AAA games, creative workloads, and AI-powered tasks with ease.
One of the main highlights is its 16-inch OLED display. The panel comes with a 2.5K resolution, 240 Hz refresh rate, and an ultra-fast 0.2 ms response time. It also supports 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage, Dolby Vision, and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 for rich colours and deep contrast. The laptop has also received the COMPUTEX 2026 Best Choice Award.
For cooling, Gigabyte uses its WINDFORCE INFINITY EX thermal system. It includes a large vapor chamber and Frost Fan 2.0 technology. According to the company, the cooling system can support up to 230 W system power while keeping noise levels under control during heavy gaming or work sessions.
The laptop also introduces GiMATE, an AI-powered assistant made by Gigabyte. The AI agent helps users manage system performance and offers tools for creators and developers. GiMATE Creator supports local AI image generation workflows, while GiMATE Coder can help with coding, debugging, and code optimisation inside Visual Studio Code.
Audio is another area where the AORUS MASTER 16 focuses on premium quality. The laptop includes Dolby Atmos support and four dual-force speakers with Smart Amplifier technology for a more immersive sound experience.
The design keeps the signature AORUS gaming style with RGB lighting and the company’s “5-degree Black” finish. Despite its powerful hardware, the laptop remains slim and portable for users who need strong performance on the move.
With high-end specifications, advanced cooling, AI features, and a fast OLED display, the new AORUS MASTER 16 aims to deliver a premium gaming and creator experience in a compact form factor.
