Keychron Q0 HE num pad brings powerful control with smart features

Keychron has launched a new standalone num pad called the Keychron Q0 HE. It is priced at $139.99 and is now available through the official Keychron online store. This new num pad is part of the Q HE family and uses advanced Hall effect and TMR technology.

The Q0 HE is not a simple number pad. Along with the main number keys, it comes with five extra macro keys placed on the left side and a programmable knob above them. There is also an extra row of custom keys at the top. This design is made for users who like small keyboards for gaming but still need a num pad for work, editing, or daily tasks.

The num pad matches the look and feel of other Q HE keyboards. It uses Gateron Double Rail magnetic Nebula switches and has a strong aluminium body. The keycaps are made from double shot PBT plastic and use Keychron’s OSA profile, which feels comfortable for long use

Thanks to Hall effect technology, users can change how deep a key needs to be pressed before it works. Features like rapid trigger, dynamic key actions, SOCD, and analog input are also supported. This makes the Q0 HE useful for both gaming and professional work. Users can create macros and different layers using the Keychron Launcher software.

Inside, the Keychron Q0 HE uses a gasket mount with Poron foam and extra case foam to reduce noise and improve typing feel. It runs on QMK firmware and supports full key customisation. The polling rate is 1000 Hz when using USB C or the 2.4 GHz wireless mode. Bluetooth is also available with a 90 Hz polling rate.

Wireless power comes from a 1,800 mAh battery. Keychron says it can last up to 56 hours on one charge when the lights are turned off.

The Keychron Q0 HE comes in black and white colour options. The white version has matching white keycaps with dark green accent keys, while the black version uses mixed black and white keycaps.

Overall, the Keychron Q0 HE is a strong choice for users who want extra control, smart features, and a premium feel in a compact num pad.
