Corsair AIR 5400 brings powerful triple-chamber design for better cooling

Corsair has launched its latest PC case, the AIR 5400, a mid-tower chassis with a brand-new triple-chamber layout made to improve cooling and airflow. The company says this design separates heat-producing parts into their own sections, making the system run cooler and quieter.

The AIR 5400 builds on Corsair’s past success with the original AIR 540 from 2013, which first introduced the dual-chamber layout. This time, Corsair has gone even further by adding a third chamber for CPU cooling. The new setup gives each main part the CPU, GPU, and power supply its own airflow path. This helps stop heat from building up and improves performance.

The case includes a front chamber designed for a 360 mm AIO liquid cooler that pulls in fresh air and releases warm air quickly. This layout means the CPU can stay cool without being affected by the GPU’s heat. The main chamber also features two airflow ducts, one at the top and another at the bottom, to keep air moving smoothly through the case. The lower duct brings in cold air directly to the graphics card using three pre-installed reverse-rotor RGB fans, while the top duct balances the look and improves overall flow.

Corsair has paid special attention to the GPU area, offering up to 430 mm of clearance so even the biggest cards fit easily. There are two versions available: an ARGB model with RS120-R fans and an iCUE Link version with LX120-R RGB fans and a hub that connects up to 24 devices using a single cable.

The AIR 5400 also focuses on ease of use and modern design. It features wraparound glass panels that swing open for easy upgrades and cleaning. Inside, there’s a large third chamber behind the motherboard for the power supply, drives, and cables. Corsair’s new RapidRoute 2.0 system makes cable management much easier with movable tie-down anchors that can be adjusted to fit your setup.

The case supports the latest reverse-connector motherboards from ASUS, MSI, and GIGABYTE, making builds cleaner and more professional. Corsair also includes small details like nylon brushes between the chambers to hide wires, a reusable screw box, QuikTurn screws for quick fan setup, and even a microfiber cloth for keeping the glass spotless.

At the top, users get three USB-C ports (two 5 Gb/s and one 10 Gb/s), a headset jack, and a power button. The case also comes with an anti-sag GPU arm for extra support.

Available in black or white, the AIR 5400 gives builders a choice between standard ARGB control or advanced iCUE Link connectivity. Both deliver quiet cooling and bright lighting effects.

Corsair AIR 5400 warranty and availability

The Corsair AIR 5400 is available now through the Corsair store and retailers, with North American stock expected later this year. It includes a two-year warranty and Corsair’s trusted support network.

With its fresh triple-chamber design, beautiful glass panels, and smart airflow system, the AIR 5400 sets a new bar for modern PC cases combining style, cooling, and performance in one powerful package.
