FSP intros MEGA GM fully modular power supply series for modern PC builds

FSP has officially introduced its new MEGA GM Series of fully modular power supplies, aimed at users who want stable power, quiet operation, and support for the latest PC hardware. The new lineup includes three options with 850 W, 1000 W, and 1200 W output, giving users flexibility based on their system needs.

The MEGA GM Series is designed to meet modern standards, with full support for Intel ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1. This makes it a strong choice for new gaming and creator PCs that use high-performance CPUs and graphics cards.

Efficiency is one of the main strengths of the series. These power supplies carry 80 Plus Gold certification along with Cybenetics Gold and A++ ratings. In simple terms, this means they waste less power, create less heat, and help reduce electricity use during daily work or gaming sessions. Better efficiency also helps the system stay cooler and quieter.

For graphics card support, FSP has made sure the MEGA GM Series is ready for next-generation GPUs. Each unit includes a native PCIe 12V-2×6 cable, along with standard 8-pin PCIe connectors. This allows smooth support for the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series and AMD Radeon graphics cards. The power supplies can also handle sudden power spikes, helping prevent crashes during heavy gaming or rendering tasks.

To improve power stability, FSP uses its own MTLC technology in the MEGA GM Series. This feature keeps voltage levels very close to the ideal range. Stable voltage helps protect important PC parts like the CPU and GPU and supports long-term system health.

Noise control has also been given special attention. The power supplies use a 135 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan with an Eco mode. When the PC is under light load, the fan stays completely off. As the load increases, the fan starts slowly and remains very quiet. With noise levels below 15 dB(A), the series meets one of the highest silent operation ratings available.

Despite their high power output, the units are compact in size. Their small design makes them easy to install in most PC cases, including builds where space is limited.

Cable management is simple thanks to the fully modular design. Users only connect the cables they need, which helps keep the inside of the PC neat and improves airflow. For safety, the MEGA GM Series includes full protection features to guard against power-related issues such as over-voltage, short circuits, and overheating.

The MEGA GM Series will be available worldwide starting January 2026 through authorised FSP retailers. Pricing in the US starts at $179 for the 850 W model, $199 for the 1000 W version, and $229 for the 1200 W unit.
