Sony LinkBuds Clip – A smart and refreshing way to listen
Sony has introduced a new pair of open earbuds called LinkBuds Clip. These earbuds are made for people who want to enjoy music while still hearing what is happening around them. With a light and open design, they are built for daily use at work, outdoors, or while travelling.
The LinkBuds Clip do not go inside the ear canal. Instead, they sit gently on the ear with a clip style shape. This helps users stay aware of traffic, voices, and announcements without taking the earbuds off. Because there is no pressure inside the ear, they feel more comfortable and reduce ear fatigue during long use.
Sony says the design is based on user feedback. The C shaped body fits many ear types and stays stable during movement. Extra fitting cushions are included so users can adjust the fit based on comfort and activity.
The earbuds offer three listening modes. Standard mode is made for clear and detailed sound. Voice Boost mode makes voices louder and clearer in noisy places like stations or markets. Sound Leakage Reduction mode helps keep sound more private in quiet areas.
Even with the open design, Sony has focused on sound quality. The earbuds support DSEE sound upscaling and 360 Reality Audio. Users can also adjust sound using a 10 band equaliser in the Sony Sound Connect app. Call quality is improved with bone conduction sensors and AI noise reduction, helping voices stay clear even in loud surroundings.
LinkBuds Clip are very light and made for all day wear. They are suitable for walking, running, and other outdoor activities. The earbuds come in several colours, making it easy to match personal style. Users can also customise them with optional case covers and cushions.
Battery life is another strong point. With the charging case, users can get up to 37 hours of use. A quick charge of just 3 minutes gives up to 1 hour of listening. The earbuds also support multipoint connection, tap controls, IPX4 water resistance, and smart sound features that adjust based on activity.
Sony has also paid attention to the environment. The packaging is fully plastic free, and around 20 percent of the plastic used in the product is recycled.

The LinkBuds Clip are now available in black, greige, green, and lavender. The price is $229.99 in the US and $299.99 in Canada. Optional case covers and fitting cushions are also available separately.
