Abxylute shows exciting new Switch 2 controllers with retro charm and smart features
Abxylute has shared an early look at its upcoming N6 and N9C Nintendo Switch 2 controllers, and both look very promising. These controllers are not launched yet, but they already show a strong mix of style, comfort, and useful features for everyday players.
The N9C is one of the Switch 2 Controllers made for fans of classic gaming. Its design is inspired by the old GameCube controller, giving it a strong retro feel. It connects to the Switch 2 using a wired USB C plug at the bottom. The controller uses regular joysticks, mechanical buttons, and tactile shoulder buttons, which should feel sharp and quick during play. It also has two extra buttons on the back that you can set up yourself. A built in gyro helps with motion controls, and there is also support for on board macros, vibration control, and button mapping. Even though it has no battery, it includes BLE only for settings and custom changes. A small built in stand is also included, which is a nice bonus.

The N6 is also one of the Switch 2 Controllers which is a more modern controller and focuses more on comfort. Its grip shape looks similar to a handheld PC, but the button layout follows the familiar Xbox style with offset sticks.

The biggest highlight here is the use of Hall effect sticks, which are made to avoid stick drift over time. The sticks also have a smooth ring around them to reduce friction. The face buttons feel softer due to rubber domes, while the D pad uses tactile switches. The triggers are digital, keeping things simple. There is one rear button on each side, and the back panel is designed in a smart way to push sound from the Switch 2 speakers towards your face. Abxylute says this design can give stronger bass compared to the standard setup.
