Renowned worldwide for its innovation and leadership in gaming displays, Acer today announced the expansion of its Predator monitor line-up in the United States, giving gamers in North America more choices for battle.

The new Predator XB1 Series includes two 27-inch models, the Predator XB271HU and the Predator XB271HK. These new monitors feature a sleek and aggressive black design with sharp angles and bold red accents. Designed to provide a no-compromise visual experience, the new models feature NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ technology that reduces screen tearing and minimizes display stutter and input lag to sharpen gamer’s views with incredibly clear and smooth images.

Predator XB271HU l WQHD, Zero-Frame Design
The new Predator XB271HU touts a zero-frame edge-to-edge design with a WQHD (2560 x 1440) IPS panel that supports 100% of the sRGB color gamut as well as NVIDIA® ULMB™ technology1 to reduce motion blur by delivering sharp edges in fast-paced gaming environments. It has a fast 4ms gray to gray response time, 350 cd/m2 brightness and up to a supercharged 165Hz overclocking refresh rate that speeds up the frames per second for delivering ultra-smooth gameplay.

Predator XB271HK l 4K UHD
The 27-inch Acer Predator XB271HK touts spectacular picture quality with a 4K UHD (3840×2160@60Hz) panel boasting 300 cd/m2 brightness and 1.07 billion colors. This stunning monitor also provides a high 100 percent sRGB color accuracy and reproduction.

Rendering fast-moving actions and dramatic transitions without smearing or ghosting, the Acer Predator XB271HK’s IPS display offers a quick 4ms response. It also provides wide viewing angles with accurate colors up to 178 degrees horizontally and vertically.

GameView In-Game Advantage
The new Predator gaming monitors feature GameView technology, which allows gamers to swiftly toggle between three customizable display profiles to tweak settings in-game without the need to navigate through an OSD menu, a significant advantage when every second counts. Special settings include dark boost (black level adjustment) to ensure gamers can best see every threat, aim-point assistance to help get a jump on opponents and perfect the shot as well as the ability to select the on-screen refresh rate.

Comfortable Ergonomics
Featuring Acer Eye Protect Technology, the new monitors are outfitted with flicker-less, blue-light filter, ComfyView and low-dimming technologies to help safeguard the eyes from blue light emissions and decrease eye fatigue during long gaming sessions.

An ergonomically-designed stand provides tilt from -5 to 35 degrees, swivel from +/- 30 degrees, pivot and height adjustment up to 5.9 inches, enabling customers to find the most optimum viewing position. A quick release design easily disconnects the display from the stand for VESA wall mounting.

They also offer excellent connectivity with HDMI, DisplayPort v1.2 and a USB 3.0 hub (1 up/4 down) as well as dynamic audio with two 2W stereo speakers.
