be quiet! brings strong cooling and silent performance with new Dark Rock 6 series
be quiet! has officially introduced its latest high-end CPU coolers, the Dark Rock Pro 6 and Dark Rock 6. The new air coolers come with a fresh design, stronger cooling power, and quieter operation for gamers, creators, and PC enthusiasts who want both performance and low noise levels.
The company says the new series improves cooling through redesigned heat sinks and upgraded heat pipes. Both models also include a semi-passive mode that allows the fans to fully stop during low workloads, helping systems stay completely silent when heavy cooling is not needed.

Aaron Licht, CEO of be quiet!, said the company wanted to take its premium air cooling lineup to a higher level by improving both performance and quietness. He added that the coolers are designed for everything from overclocked workstations to compact gaming PCs.

The Dark Rock Pro 6 is the more powerful model in the lineup. It uses seven high-performance heat pipes and two custom Silent Wings PWM fans, including one 135 mm fan and one 120 mm fan. A hardware switch allows users to choose between maximum cooling performance or a quieter semi-passive mode.

The cooler also improves compatibility with RAM and motherboard VRM heatsinks thanks to its adjustable front fan and redesigned heat sink layout. Installation has also been simplified with a new mounting system. The top cover includes a brushed aluminium finish, while the black ceramic coating gives the cooler a clean premium look. The nickel-plated base also supports liquid metal thermal grease.

Meanwhile, the Dark Rock 6 focuses on delivering strong cooling in a smaller and more compact design. It comes with six heat pipes and a custom 135 mm Silent Wings fan. Like the Pro model, it also includes the hardware switch for performance and silent modes.

Its asymmetrical design improves compatibility with memory modules and motherboard cooling parts, making it easier to fit into different PC builds. The cooler also includes a magnetic top cover and the same ceramic black coating used on the larger model.
