The front of the box has a nice image of the MX-LP 2.1 wireless keyboard. The image of the keyboard itself really pops and gives a great idea of what the keyboard will really look like.

Opening the box and everything is presented very well. There is a small covering that not only helps the MX-LP 2.1 not get scratched or scuffed during transit, it also offers a more premium feel when unboxing the keyboard.

Inside the box is the MX-LP 2.1 keyboard, USB-C charging cable and a wireless dongle.

This is a very compact keyboard and has less than 70 keys on it. It was also nice to see how the keys are color-coded based on their function. I am normally a full-size keyboard kind of guy due to how much I use the numpad but there is no denying that the extra room on my desk while using this was absolutely amazing.

The MX-LP 2.1 is a sleek wireless keyboard that can be used for both gaming and professional needs. Keeping things compact can sometimes be hard but CHERRY has done a great job, especially giving some keys a secondary function.

The MX-LP 2.1 can be connected to three devices at the same time, and you can switch between them simply by choosing which connection you want. Best of all, this is all done on the keyboard itself!

This means you can switch between your PC, tablet phone or any three devices you want with ease.

The MX Low Profile RGB Speed Switches are amazing! Lately, my daily keyboard has had the MX Speed Silver switches so this low-profile variant was right up my alley. From typing to gaming, these keys are as responsive as any other switch I have ever used. After a quick adjustment to the size of the keyboard, I had no issues at all when typing or gaming.

There are a number of RGB effects and colors you can choose from to customize the MX-LP 2.1 wireless keyboard. Personally, I like the rainbow effect but that could also be due to the fact that is generally the default setting and I am too lazy to change it.

On the back or bottom of the keyboard, however, you look at it is the normal information we see on similar products. However, there is one additional sticker and while it may be hard to read in the image, the smaller sticker on the bottom says ” The fast-charging interface is not supported. To ensure security, you are advised to connect the interface to a computer.” Basically, don’t try to charge this up from the mains outlet, make sure it is plugged into a PC so it will charge up properly.
