Corsair has released a new Nightsabre Wireless Mouse, and this entry from the tech giant didn’t disappoint. It truly lives up to the legacy of Corsair, given that it has blazingly fast sub-1ms SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS, 11 completely customizable buttons, and stunning six-zone RGB. In this article, we will give you a complete review of The New Corsair Nightsabre Wireless Mouse so you can make a decision on whether to buy it or not.

NightSabre Wireless Mouse

With the 11 programmable buttons on the Night Sabre Wireless, featuring a tilted scroll wheel, you can change how you play with macros or button remaps. Additionally, a seven-zone dynamic RGB backlighting is provided. The mouse feet are constructed entirely of PTFE for the smoothest glide possible and are readily replaced.

The mouse under evaluation includes a built-in battery that, when used without Bluetooth or illumination, should last 100 hours. It should last up to 65 hours using a 2.4 GHz Slipstream. One of the things we liked the most about this mouse is that you can play for 20 hours after 15 minutes of charging the mouse with the included (1.8 m) USB cord. On top of that, With RGB customization/synchronization, DPI modification, and button remaps neatly saved on up to five onboard profiles, Corsair iCUE allows you to fine-tune your mouse settings.

The other feature that we liked is that your shoots and clicks would be faster than ever, thanks to Night Sabre’s spring-loaded Corsair Quickstrike Buttons, which provide zero gaps between the major buttons and their rapid optical switches.

Style, Build Quality, and Wireless Adaptability

While we have talked about the many features of the mouse, let’s talk about its style, build quality, and its wireless adaptability. Its style is arguably gorgeous as it has a matte black plastic body. The mouse also has faux carbon fibers, giving it a unique look. On top of that, there are twelve RGB zones that may be customized, including three around the bottom of the back and two on the front, one on the logo in the palm rest, six in the glossy accent area below the left and right click keys, and one on the logo.

While it has a great design, its build quality is also great. As said before, the body is made of plastic, and for improved grip, the left- and right-click buttons, as well as the side panels, all have a textured surface. On the bottom, a metal bracket component encircles the foot that is highest, and on the front of the mouse, it wraps around the USB-C charging connector.

However, there was one issue that arose while gaming. This problem won’t occur if you are using the mouse normally. The issue is the flexibility on the left side, as, while gaming, you are bound to grip the mouse tightly, and it can cause some problems for you however, if you don’t hold your mouse tightly when gaming, then it won’t be an issue for you.

Regarding Wireless Adaptability, the wireless battery life of this mouse is up to 65 hours of nonstop operation when connected via its USB receiver or up to 100 hours when connected via Bluetooth. The multifunctional LED indicator on top of the mouse displays the remaining battery life.

Click Latency

There’s not much to say about this, as the NightSabre Wireless has incredibly low click latency, and we will give it a perfect score in this aspect. It provides a very responsive gaming experience across all genres and works well for both competitive and recreational play. The click latency is, however, slightly less constant than that of the majority of mice with a 2000Hz polling rate due to the peculiar implementation of 2000Hz polling. The customization software for this mouse contains a parameter called Button Response Optimisation, which is a calibration tool for click sensitivity. If you often raise and reset your mouse while gaming, this option could assist in avoiding unnecessary slam clicks from being logged by adding a small amount of switch debounce.

Conclusion

Corsair Nightsabre Wireless Mouse is arguably a great mouse to buy as it performs really well on MMO and RPG video games. The raw performance of this mouse is also great. The build quality of this mouse is excellent, and the click latency is just perfect. The click latency of Corsair Nightsabre Wireless is what impressed us the most. It also has a great overall sensor performance that makes it a good choice for gaming.

That being said, the mouse does have some flaws, such as the flexibility on the left side, and the 2000Hz polling rate isn’t as impressive when compared with other mice. Nonetheless, the mouse is a great option to consider for gaming and if you are a fan of Corsair then you should definitely get this one.
