Gigabyte unveils impressive trio of RTX 5050 graphics cards, including a powerful low-profile model
Gigabyte has announced three new graphics cards based on the GeForce RTX 5050. These are the RTX 5050 GAMING OC 8G, WINDFORCE OC 8G, and OC Low Profile 8G.
The Gaming OC is the top model. It comes with three fans, a big heatsink, and a side plate that slides to show the words “game on.” This card uses Gigabyte’s hawk fans and has 8 GB of fast GDDR6 memory (20 Gbps). It also has two DisplayPort 2.1b and one HDMI 2.1b output, along with an 8-pin power connector.
The RTX 5050 Windforce OC is slightly smaller and has only two fans, but it still uses the same fast memory and video outputs. Like the Gaming OC, it has an 8-pin power connector.

The third RTX 5050 card, the OC Low Profile, is made for small PC cases. It also has 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, but only one DisplayPort 2.1b and one older DisplayPort 1.4b. It still includes two HDMI 2.1b ports and an 8-pin power connector. Even though it’s small, it comes with a copper heatpipe and GPU contact plate to help with cooling. It also uses a special fan lubricant called graphene nano lubricant, which helps the fans last longer—up to 2.1 times longer than usual. Gigabyte also includes a low-profile bracket in the box.
