Mafia: The Old Country brings classic crime story to life
Mafia: The Old Country is finally here. Today, 2K and Hangar 13 announced the worldwide launch of the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. This new part of the popular Mafia series takes players to 1900s Sicily, with a deep story and rich details that look and feel very real.
The game tells the story of Enzo Favara, a young man who grew up working in hard conditions in the sulfur mines of Sicily. After years of struggle, Enzo finds a chance to join a powerful crime family led by Don Torrisi. He takes an oath and steps into a dangerous world where loyalty, power, and sacrifice go hand in hand.
According to Nick Baynes, President of Hangar 13, the team worked hard to give players a strong story, beautiful visuals, and smooth gameplay. He said this game is made for both long-time fans and people playing Mafia for the first time.
The game brings back the classic Mafia feel with action-packed fights, knife battles, and smart stealth. Players will explore the start of organised crime, fighting to survive and prove themselves. The story and characters feel real and are full of emotion, drama, and tension.

Mafia: The Old Country is available in two versions. The Standard Edition costs $49.99 and includes the full base game. The Deluxe Edition, priced at $59.99, offers extra in-game items like special weapons, clothes, a fancy car, a horse, and more. It also includes the game’s original music and an artbook filled with designs and developer notes.
The Mafia series began in 2002 and has now sold over 35 million copies worldwide. This new release takes the story back to where it all began and gives fans a fresh way to enjoy the crime-filled world.
