The new Noctua NL LC1 series is built on Asetek’s trusted Emma V2 platform, a design widely recognized for efficient cooling and dependable performance. Noctua has added its own engineering improvements, including the new NL PNA1 pump noise absorber. This feature uses a special three-layer soundproofing structure and vibration-reducing technology to make the pump significantly quieter during operation.

According to Noctua CEO Roland Mossig, the company spent years ensuring that liquid cooling could meet the same high standards of acoustics and reliability that customers expect from Noctua products. The result is a cooler series designed to offer powerful cooling without excessive noise.

The pump includes three operating modes that allow users to choose their preferred balance between cooling performance and sound levels. Quiet mode keeps pump noise nearly inaudible, Balanced mode provides extra cooling power, and Manual mode gives full control over pump speed settings.

The Noctua NL LC1 series is available in three radiator sizes:

  • Notctua NL LC1 24 (240mm)
  • Noctua NL LC1 36 (360mm)
  • Noctua NL LC1 42 (420mm)

These coolers come equipped with Noctua’s latest NF A12x25 G2 and NF A14x25 G2 fans, which are designed to deliver excellent airflow while maintaining low noise levels. The fans also use speed-offset technology to reduce unwanted humming and vibration.

For users who need additional airflow around motherboard components such as VRMs, RAM, or M.2 SSDs, Noctua is offering the optional NL ACF1 auxiliary cooling fan. This accessory can replace the standard magnetic faceplate on the pump unit.

Installation is handled by Noctua’s SecuFirm2+ mounting system, which supports a wide range of CPU sockets and is designed for easy installation and future compatibility. The coolers also include Noctua’s NT H2 thermal paste and are backed by a six-year manufacturer warranty.
