SteelSeries powers up Rival 3 Gen 2 mice with faster clicks, bold colours, and better value
SteelSeries has just launched the new Rival 3 Gen 2 and Rival 3 Wireless Gen 2 gaming mice, bringing faster performance, greater durability, and fun new colours—all at wallet-friendly prices.

Designed to celebrate the road to SteelSeries’ 25th anniversary in 2026, the Rival 3 Gen 2 series improves on the popular original Rival 3 with upgrades that matter. The wired version now boasts ultra-fast 1.35 ms click latency, powered by the TrueMove Core optical sensor with 8,500 DPI for precise aim and control. It’s built tough too, with mechanical switches rated for 60 million clicks and 100% PTFE feet for effortless gliding.

Weighing only 77 g, it’s light enough for long gaming sessions and now includes SteelSeries Prism 360° RGB underglow lighting to brighten up your setup.
The Rival 3 Wireless Gen 2 raises the bar with even more features. It includes a TrueMove Air sensor with 18,000 DPI and delivers ultra-low 1.9 ms click latency. Thanks to Quantum 2.0 Dual Wireless tech, it supports both USB dongle and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, letting gamers switch between gaming PCs, laptops, and even tablets with ease.

Battery life has also seen a major boost—lasting up to 200 hours on 2.4 GHz and a massive 450 hours on Bluetooth using just a single AAA battery. Rechargeable options are also supported, and the mouse keeps a comfortable feel while staying light in hand.
To top it off, both mice are now available in four colours: classic black, clean white, aqua blue, and soft lavender—bringing a personal touch to every gamer’s setup.
