Wacom’s new MovinkPad Pro 14 brings a powerful creative boost
Wacom has unveiled its latest portable device, the MovinkPad Pro 14, made for artists and designers who want to take their creativity to the next level. This all-in-one creative pad combines strong performance, a vivid display, and a smooth pen experience, giving creators the freedom to work anywhere with ease.
The MovinkPad Pro 14 features a bright 14-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2880 × 1800. It supports 100% of both DCI-P3 and sRGB colour spaces, offering sharp visuals and rich colours. The screen also runs at up to 120 Hz, providing smooth movement when sketching or animating. Wacom’s special Premium Textured Glass reduces glare and fingerprints, giving a natural pen-on-paper feel that helps artists stay focused.
It comes with the trusted Wacom Pro Pen 3, which needs no battery and is known for its precise control and comfort. Together, the screen and pen make drawing or designing feel more natural and responsive than ever before.
Powered by Android 15 and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, the MovinkPad Pro 14 runs smoothly even during demanding creative tasks like 3D modelling and animation. It packs 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, giving enough room for large projects. The 10,000mAh battery keeps it running for hours, while its slim 5.9 mm body and 699 g weight make it easy to carry anywhere.
The device includes Wacom’s updated software features such as Quick Drawing, which wakes the pad instantly for quick sketching, and the new Wacom Canvas with multi-touch zooming and better pen support. It also adds Wacom Shelf for managing files more easily. Creators can enjoy a one-year DEBUT and three-month EX license for Clip Studio Paint, allowing access to advanced drawing tools.
A new app, Wacom Lab, introduces experimental features, including Instant Pen Display Mode, which allows the device to connect to a PC or Mac using USB-C or wirelessly, turning it into a traditional pen display.
According to Koji Yano, Senior Vice President of Wacom’s Creative Experience Unit, the new MovinkPad Pro 14 extends their vision of giving creators more freedom. It delivers professional-quality tools in a portable form, letting artists work how and where they want.
Along with the included Pro Pen 3, the MovinkPad Pro 14 also supports pens from well-known stationery brands like LAMY and STAEDTLER. Users can add an optional magnetic cover to protect the display when travelling.
