SilverStone FLP02 delivers a powerful retro tower case

The SilverStone FLP02 is the latest full-tower case from SilverStone, bringing back the nostalgic look of the 90s while supporting today’s high-end PC hardware. Painted in a classic beige colour and featuring 5.25-inch bay covers styled like floppy disks, the SilverStone FLP02 blends retro charm with modern performance. It follows the earlier FLP01 HTPC case, continuing the company’s journey into retro-inspired designs.

Inside, the SilverStone FLP02 has space for powerful components. It supports graphics cards up to 386 mm in length, including large models like the RTX 5090 when the front drive cage is removed. For liquid cooling, builders can install a 360 mm radiator on the top, and there is also room for 120 mm or 140 mm radiators at the back.

One of the most unique features of the SilverStone FLP02 is its Turbo button. When pressed, it makes all PWM fans run at maximum speed to provide instant cooling. A small display on the front panel shows fan speeds in real time, while the motherboard can still manage cooling based on system temperature. To add security, SilverStone has also included a special key lock for the power and reset buttons.

The case is built for flexibility, supporting motherboards from Mini-ITX up to SSI-CEB. It comes with seven expansion slots plus two more for upgrades, three external 5.25-inch bays, and several internal drive mounts. CPU coolers up to 182 mm in height and power supplies up to 250 mm in length can easily fit inside.

Connectivity is modern as well, with the SilverStone FLP02 offering a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, and a combo audio jack on the front panel. The chassis measures 232 x 494 x 472 mm, weighs 9.79 kg, and has plenty of space for clean cable management and a powerful build.

Silverstone FLP02 pricing and availability

SilverStone has not yet announced the exact price or release date of the SilverStone FLP02, but it is expected to appeal strongly to both retro PC fans and modern gamers looking for a unique and feature-rich tower case.
