Corsair 2800X Brings Big Features to Compact PC Builds
Corsair has introduced the Corsair 2800X, a new Micro-ATX PC case designed for users who want strong performance and modern features in a smaller footprint. Available in black and white, the case brings many of the features found in larger tower cases while taking up less desk space.
The Corsair 2800X comes with three pre-installed RS120-R ARGB PWM reverse-rotor fans, helping deliver strong airflow right out of the box. These fans also provide customizable RGB lighting, allowing builders to create a stylish gaming or workstation setup without purchasing additional cooling hardware.

Despite its compact size, the case offers generous hardware compatibility. It supports graphics cards up to 410mm in length, making it suitable for many high-end GPUs currently available. For CPU cooling, users can install radiators up to 360mm on the top panel, giving builders access to advanced liquid cooling options normally found in larger cases.
The design focuses on showcasing components through tempered glass front and side panels. This allows users to display their hardware, RGB lighting, and cable management clearly. The included reverse-rotor fans pull cool air directly into the system while keeping the RGB lighting fully visible.
Corsair has also included several builder-friendly features. The case supports reverse-connector motherboards from ASUS, MSI, and GIGABYTE, helping create cleaner-looking systems with fewer visible cables. A built-in adjustable GPU anti-sag arm is included to help support heavy graphics cards and reduce strain on the motherboard slot.
Cable management is made easier through a rear chamber equipped with Velcro straps for securing cables. Storage support includes space for either two SSDs or one HDD behind the motherboard tray, making future upgrades simple.
For connectivity, the top I/O panel features a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port and a faster USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port capable of transfer speeds up to 20Gbps. The case also provides mounting locations for up to ten 120mm fans, offering plenty of cooling flexibility for different build styles.
Users looking to expand RGB lighting and fan control can upgrade to the Corsair iCUE LINK ecosystem using the optional COMMANDER DUO Hybrid Lighting and Fan Controller. This allows centralized control of compatible cooling and lighting devices through Corsair’s iCUE software.
