The Drakong Challenger Controller has officially been announced as the first gaming controller from Drakong, a new gaming hardware brand created by Hyperkin. Designed for Xbox and PC gamers, the controller combines modern gaming features, comfort, and durability while maintaining an affordable price point.
Officially licensed for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10/11 PCs, the Drakong Challenger Controller is aimed at players looking for a reliable controller without paying premium prices. The company says the controller was built to offer a high-quality gaming experience for both casual and competitive gamers.
One of the biggest highlights of the Drakong Challenger Controller is its Hall Effect thumbsticks. These advanced sticks help reduce the chances of stick drift, a common problem that affects many controllers after extended use. The controller also includes twin programmable back buttons, allowing players to assign important in-game actions for quicker access and improved control.
Comfort has been a major focus in the design. The controller features an ergonomic shape along with laser-textured grips on the handles and triggers. This helps players maintain a secure grip during long gaming sessions while improving overall comfort.
The Drakong Challenger Controller also features a durable membrane system for the ABXY buttons, helping improve longevity and responsiveness. It will be available for an MSRP of $34.99 in the United States, £29.99 in the United Kingdom, and €34.99 in Europe, making it one of the most affordable officially licensed Xbox controllers with Hall Effect technology on the market.
