ASRock PRO series modular PSUs introduced for modern PCs
ASRock has introduced its new ASRock PRO Series full modular power supply units, built for users who want stable performance without spending too much. With the simple idea of “LIKE A PRO,” the company is focusing on reliability, ease of use, and solid everyday performance.
The new series comes in three power options: 1000W, 850W, and 750W. This makes it suitable for different types of builds, from mid-range gaming PCs to high-end systems. The goal here is clear. These PSUs are made to deliver clean and steady power while keeping things simple and affordable. Instead of adding extra features that many users do not need, ASRock has focused on the basics that matter most.
One of the key highlights is support for modern hardware. The ASRock PRO Series is fully compatible with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. It also includes the new 12V-2×6 cable, which is designed for the latest graphics cards. To make installation easier, the units use a dual colour connector system. This helps users quickly see if cables are connected properly, reducing the chance of mistakes.
Efficiency is another strong point. These PSUs come with 80 Plus Gold and Cybenetics Gold certifications. This means they can deliver over 90% energy efficiency under normal use. In simple terms, less power is wasted, and the system runs more smoothly. The addition of 5V BOOST helps keep voltage stable even when the system load changes, which improves long-term reliability.
Inside, the ASRock PRO Series uses high-quality Japanese capacitors rated for 105°C. These parts are known for lasting longer and handling heat better. The PSU also uses an LLC + DC-DC design, which helps provide more accurate and stable power output.
Cooling and noise have also been handled carefully. A 135 mm fan with fluid dynamic bearing is used for airflow.
