Ghost of Yotei gameplay showcase set for July 2025 epic State of Play

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch Productions have announced that Ghost of Yotei will be getting its own dedicated State of Play presentation in July. The showcase will offer a deep look at gameplay, focusing on exploration, combat, and other core features of the new open-world game.

The broadcast promises a full walkthrough of the latest mechanics and improvements, all guided by the team at Sucker Punch. “Get ready for Sucker Punch to guide you through an extended look at the new open-world adventure,” the official message reads. “The show will be focused entirely on Ghost of Yotei. You’ll get an extended look at new and evolved gameplay mechanics, including exploration, combat, and much more.”

Set in a new setting and featuring refined systems, Ghost of Yotei aims to deliver a polished action experience built from the ground up for the PlayStation 5. It follows in the footsteps of Ghost of Tsushima, the studio’s previous hit, and fans are eager to see what’s next.
