Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-profile brings speed and comfort

Razer has launched two new models in its popular keyboard line — the Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-profile HyperSpeed and the Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-profile Tenkeyless HyperSpeed. These are the slimmest and most advanced low-profile versions of the Razer BlackWidow V4 so far, built to give gamers fast performance, great comfort, and a clean, modern design.

Both keyboards feature Razer’s HyperSpeed Wireless technology for near-instant response during gameplay. They include dedicated macro buttons, a clickable control roller, and for the first time, low-profile mechanical switches. These switches allow quick and accurate key presses while keeping the keyboard slim for easier use.

The Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-profile comes with three switch options — green (clicky), yellow (linear), and orange (tactile). The reduced key height helps keep wrists in a natural position, reducing strain during long gaming sessions. The front height is just 18.5 mm, and the angled frame adds extra comfort even without a wrist rest.

Razer BlackWidow V4 RGB lighting

Each switch is designed to let bright RGB lighting shine through the keys. They are pre-lubricated, stable, and tested to last up to 80 million presses, which is more than the industry standard.

For durability and sound quality, the keyboards use a 5052 aluminium alloy top plate, two sound-dampening foam layers, pre-lubricated stabilizers, and a stainless steel plate. This design gives a clean typing sound and a satisfying key feel.

The Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-profile models support HyperSpeed Wireless at a 1000 Hz polling rate, can pair with a Razer mouse using the same dongle, and can connect up to three devices via Bluetooth. With Power Saving Mode, the battery can last up to 980 hours. The Snap Tap feature also lets gamers instantly switch between two keys without lifting the first one, useful in fast-paced games.
