GL.iNet proudly launches powerful Comet 5G remote KVM with smart 5G support

GL.iNet has officially launched the Comet 5G, a new remote KVM device designed to make remote access more reliable and flexible. It is the world’s first remote KVM to use 5G RedCap technology, which helps keep devices accessible even when normal internet connections fail.

The Comet 5G can stay online in tough network conditions. It supports Ethernet, Wi Fi 6, and 5G RedCap, and it can switch between these connections on its own. If one connection stops working, the device quickly moves to the next available option. This makes it useful for system repair, remote control, and recovery work in places where networks are weak or unstable.

GL.iNet has also added a local control feature called Nearby Control. This allows users to connect to the Comet 5G directly without using the internet. The device creates its own Wi Fi signal, letting nearby users manage and control systems on site. This is helpful in secure locations or areas with no internet access at all.

Storage has also been improved. The Comet 5G comes with 64 GB of eMMC storage, giving users more space to save operating system images. With fast data speeds of up to 25 MB per second, system recovery and setup can be done faster and with less waiting time.
