Introduction

In recent months, OCPC Gaming has made an effort to become a more well-known brand. I know this as I have been working for and with them on several projects to help make them more internationally known. As such, there will be no awards given to OCPC Products at this time. Instead, we will take a look at them and present facts and what we found when using the products firsthand.

The MR11 is a 7200DPI Gaming mouse that comes in weighing 140g. On the front of the box, we have a nice render image of the MR11 mouse as well as a QR code we can scan that will take us to the OCPC Gaming Website.

Getting the mouse out of the box and it has a good quality feel to it. It feels solidly made for an entry-level gaming mouse.

On the rear of the mouse, we have a small honeycomb-designed area which also features some RGB. This is to offer more an aesthetically pleasing look to the mouse.

On the rear of the mouse there is also a small lightbar that will match the lighting effect of the honeycomb area above.

While you can essentially use this mouse with either hand thanks to its mostly ambidextrous design, those right-handers amongst us will find two additional buttons by which their thumb will rest. These are going to be your standard forward/backward buttons which have become standard on most mice these days.

Towards the front, we have the standard mouse 1 and mouse 2 buttons, alongside the scroll wheel and a pair of buttons that can be used to change the DPI either up or down. When changing the DPI, the mouse lighting will change colors so you know to figure out which color matches your DPI preference. After a couple of seconds, the light will go back to its RGB illumination.

On the bottom of the mouse, there is a small metal plate. Removing this will reveal the A725F CMOS sensor. Should you remove this, please be careful as you won’t want to damage anything.

The RGB lighting effect is not overpowering at all and looks decent in most lights. However, there is no way to control it which may not be to everyone’s taste.

Final Words

The OCPC Gaming MR11 is an entry-level mouse for the budget-conscious. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of more expensive mice, it has the bare minimum specs to make it an option worth considering. While it would be nice to be able to control the RGB in some fashion, it’s not a massive downside.

The mouse feels solid when using it for gaming and I would say it would be good for someone with an average-sized hand. It is a tad bit bigger than some of the other FPS gaming mice currently on the market, but not much.

When it comes to picking new peripherals, you need to consider what you need and how much you want to spend. Then from there you can start looking into prices and see what works best for you.
