Montech launches impressive Sky 3 mid tower case with modular airflow design
Montech has introduced the new Sky 3 mid-tower PC case series. This case is the next step in the company’s popular Sky lineup. It comes with a refreshed internal design, built-in lighting, and support for modern PC hardware. The company designed this case to make building a system easier while keeping the overall look clean and modern.
One of the most interesting parts of the Sky 3 is its modular bottom chamber. This area allows users to change how airflow works inside the case. Builders can swap the PSU compartment and the bottom fan bracket depending on their cooling needs. In GPU Mode, the intake fans sit directly under the graphics card to push cool air toward it. In CPU Mode, airflow moves toward the motherboard area to help cool the CPU and nearby parts such as VRMs. This flexible setup lets users adjust cooling based on their hardware.
Montech also focused on making installation simple. The case includes a tool-free drive bracket and a removable top radiator bracket. This allows users to install fans or radiators outside the case first and then place the bracket back inside. Because the top frame can be removed completely, builders get more space to work, which helps during liquid cooling installation.
Another highlight is the horizon ARGB lighting system. A single LED strip runs smoothly from the front panel to the side of the case. This creates a continuous lighting effect that looks clean and modern. The lighting uses wireless gold-plated pogo-pin contacts, which removes the need for visible cables and keeps the inside of the case neat.
The Sky 3 is also ready for upcoming hardware. It has enough space to support large next-generation graphics cards, including models from the RTX 50 series. The case also supports back-connect motherboards such as ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project STEALTH. These motherboards move most cables to the back side, which helps create a cleaner build.
For cooling, the case comes with Montech’s AX120 PRO and RX120 PRO fans. These fans provide strong airflow and also feature dual-loop ARGB lighting. The fan blades and the hexagonal light ring both light up, giving the system a stylish multi-layer lighting effect.
Montech Sky 3 case pricing and availability
The Montech Sky 3 will be available starting March 9, 2026, at 9 AM Eastern Time. The case will come in black and white colours, with both versions priced at $89.99.
