NZXT unveils powerful new Performance fan series for ultimate cooling
NZXT, known for its PC cases and cooling gear, has announced the Performance fan series, a new range made for gamers and PC enthusiasts who want the best mix of power, silence, and style. The new series includes the F120X, F140X, F240X, F280X, and F360X, marking the company’s move into high-end cooling.
According to Felix Guerra, SVP of Product Generation and Engineering at NZXT, the new fans are the most powerful and advanced NZXT has ever made. He said that these fans offer top airflow and pressure while staying quiet and easy to install, helping users get better cooling without extra noise or effort.
Each fan is built with new technology and materials that improve both performance and durability. The use of liquid-crystal polymer (LCP) gives the blades and frame more strength, preventing them from bending even at high speeds. NZXT has also redesigned the blade shape and frame to reduce turbulence and noise while boosting airflow efficiency.

The performance fans use a hybrid magnetic levitation and fluid dynamic bearing system, which helps them run smoothly and last longer. A metal bearing enclosure adds extra strength, keeping the motor stable at high speeds.
NZXT also includes a 3-phase, 6-pole motor for faster response and precise speed control with lower power use. The fans come with brushed aluminium side panels, soft RGB lighting, and anti-vibration rubber corners that help absorb movement for quieter use.

For easier setup, the F240X, F280X, and F360X models use a single-frame design, combining multiple fans in one solid unit to reduce cables and screws. Each fan also supports PWM control, letting your system automatically adjust fan speed based on temperature.
NZXT Performance fan series pricing and availability
The NZXT Performance fans will be available in black or white starting November 4, 2025, and come with a 5-year warranty. Prices start at $44.99 for the F120X and go up to $119.99 for the F360X, depending on the model and region.
