REDMAGIC redefines mobile gaming with powerful cooling innovations
REDMAGIC has once again raised the bar for mobile gaming technology. At its latest tech conference in Shenzhen, the company revealed exciting new cooling systems that make smartphones run faster, cooler, and more stable than ever. The event showcased the world’s first mass-produced liquid cooling system for smartphones, as well as an improved air-cooling solution known as Turbo Fan 4.0. Together, these new designs aim to change the way gaming phones handle heat and performance.
The highlight of the event was REDMAGIC’s industry-first liquid cooling system, inspired by high-end AI servers. It uses a special fluorinated liquid that works safely in extreme temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. This coolant not only transfers heat very efficiently but also remains safe and stable even in freezing or high-heat conditions. Creating this system for a small smartphone was not easy—it required new designs in several key areas.

The engineers developed a tiny ceramic pump that moves the liquid smoothly without taking much space. They also used micro-scale channels, cut precisely with lasers, to help the coolant flow easily through the phone. To make sure the phone stays strong, the team created a new bonding method and a protective membrane that can handle thousands of drop tests.

In addition to liquid cooling, REDMAGIC introduced the Turbo Fan 4.0, its latest air-cooling system. The fan spins at up to 24,000 rpm and moves air quickly through a redesigned airflow channel. This helps the device stay cool even during long and heavy gaming sessions. It also brings IPX8 water and dust resistance, ensuring the system stays reliable over time.

During the event, REDMAGIC also showed off the Astra Gaming Tablet, which can run games at 165Hz with stunning visuals and smooth performance. Built in partnership with Tencent’s CrossFire Mobile team, this tablet has been praised for reducing crashes and improving in-game stability. Because of this level of quality, REDMAGIC phones are now the official gaming devices for six major esports leagues in China, including Call of Duty Mobile Masters and League of Legends Mobile Super League.
Looking to the future, REDMAGIC teased its upcoming REDMAGIC 11 Pro series, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. This new device will blend both liquid and air cooling systems for even better performance. In early tests, it managed to run Wuthering Waves at 90 FPS for two hours straight without overheating. The phone will support more than 200 games at 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, making it one of the most powerful gaming phones ever made.
With these innovations, REDMAGIC continues its goal to help gamers “Win More Games.” By combining powerful hardware with smart system optimisation, the company is delivering a smooth and stable mobile gaming experience that stands out in the industry.
