ASUS ROG unveils amazing Azoth 96 HE keyboard with magnetic switches
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has revealed its newest mechanical keyboard, the Azoth 96 HE. This latest model comes packed with upgrades, blending premium design, cutting-edge performance, and comfort for both gamers and enthusiasts.
The Azoth 96 HE features a new 96% layout, giving users a compact yet functional design that balances gaming and daily use. It runs on the brand-new ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches, which replace the usual ROG NX switches. These magnetic switches allow you to set your actuation point anywhere from 0.1 mm to 3.5 mm, with ultra-precise 0.01 mm adjustments. This means each keypress feels smooth, fast, and completely customisable.

The keyboard also uses a ROG Hall sensor, offering more accurate and consistent input. Each key is calibrated during production to ensure perfect precision, giving you quicker response times and reliable performance during intense gaming sessions.
Connectivity is another strong area for the Azoth 96 HE. It supports ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless, Bluetooth, and USB wired modes. You can connect up to five devices at once, and it delivers a true 8000 Hz polling rate even in wireless mode, without needing any extra accessories.
A highlight of the design is its 1.47-inch full-colour OLED touchscreen, which shows system stats and keyboard info. The screen works alongside a three-way knob that lets you change settings like actuation point and trigger sensitivity directly from the board.

Typing on the Azoth 96 HE also feels premium thanks to its gasket mount design and six-layer dampening system. With layers of PORON, IXPE, and silicone padding, vibrations and switch noises are reduced for a softer and quieter experience. You can even fine-tune the typing feel by changing the dampening layers to your liking.
