GameMax Leader 2 Review – A Bold, Spacious Case for Next-Gen Builds
GAMEMAX has recently refreshed its brand. This update brings a new look, new logo, and new products. They call it a bold new era — “Roar to the Future.” Along with this, GameMax has launched new cases, power supplies, coolers, and fans. It’s clear they are moving forward with fresh ideas and better designs.
Last time, I reviewed the GameMax Vista COC case. A lot has changed since then. GameMax has improved many things. Now, they sent me one of their newest cases, the GameMax Leader 2 WH for review.
The Leader 2 case follows their new lion-inspired design. It looks sharp and powerful. The case is built in E-ATX form factor, which means it supports big and powerful components. It can fit the latest RTX 50 series GPUs, back-connector motherboards like ASUS BTF and Gigabyte Stealth, long PSUs up to 245mm, and even 420mm liquid coolers. It’s made for next-gen builds and has plenty of space and airflow.
Unboxing
The GameMax Leader 2 WH came in a big box. The box had “Leader 2” written clearly on the front. The GameMax logo is also there in green. When I saw the box, it looked strong and well-sealed. Inside, the case was packed with thick thermocol. It was held tight from both sides.

This kept the case safe during shipping. There were no scratches or dents. The case came in perfect shape.

Accessories
All the accessories came in a small plastic bag inside the Leader 2 case. Since the case has an ARGB + PWM fan hub, it also came with a remote, and the battery was already installed. That was really helpful. The bag included the following:
- 24× motherboard screws
- 5× PSU mounting screws
- 16× 3.5″ HDD mounting screws
- 3× extra motherboard standoffs
- 2× vertical GPU standoffs
- 5× cable ties for cable management

ARGB PWM HUB V5.0
The GameMax Leader 2 comes with a pre-installed ARGB + PWM hub. It is white in color and made of plastic. On one side, it has PWM fan connectors. On the other side, you get ARGB connectors for lighting. It also includes a RESET button connector for manual ARGB control, and a SATA power input. On the opposite side, there is a 5V 3-pin Aura cable and a PWM temp cable connector.

GAMEMAX Leader 2 Pricing
The GAMEMAX Leader 2 is available in black and white color options, both backed by a 1-year warranty. Priced at $99.99 for the black version and $104.99 for the white.

A closer look
The GameMax Leader 2 comes in two colors. You can get it in Black or White. I got the White one. It looks clean and stylish. The case is made of metal and tempered glass. The metal is strong and about 0.6 to 0.7mm thick. The glass panel shows the inside of the PC clearly. The size of the case is 440mm long, 235mm wide, and 480mm tall. It gives good space for big parts. The case weighs about 9.2kg.
Exterior
Talking about the case’s exterior, the first thing you see is the front panel. It has a metal mesh design that looks bold and sharp. On this panel, you’ll also find the new GAMEMAX lion logo.

The front plastic panel also highlights GameMax’s new design elements, including bold lion claw marks and the phrase “Gaming to the Max” written in green.

The front mesh is not just for style — it helps with airflow too. It is made with a tool-free design, so you can pull it out and push it back in easily.

Behind the front panel, the case comes with 3×140mm ARGB fans pre-installed. This gives great cooling right out of the box. The front side also supports liquid coolers up to 420mm, which is perfect for high-end setups.

Looking at the top of the GameMax Leader 2, you get a tool-free metal mesh cover. It can be pulled out easily from the rear side. The mesh is strong and well-designed. It feels solid in hand and is easy to clean. It’s a nice touch by GameMax.

The top panel gives you space for 3×120mm or 2×140mm fans, and you can also install a 360mm liquid cooler. The cooling options in this case are very good, especially for a mid-tower.

You also get the I/O panel at the top. It includes a power button, reset button, 3.5mm combo audio port, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port, and a RGB mode switch. Everything is placed neatly and easy to access.

Both the front and top metal mesh covers are easy to remove. They are beautifully designed and give the case a clean, sharp look. These covers also work as dust filters, which is very useful. You can take them off without any tools, clean them, and put them back without any hassle. I found this design very user-friendly. It’s small touches like these that make a case more enjoyable to use. Personally, I really liked how simple and practical this feature is.

Looking at the rear side of the Leader 2 case, it follows a top-to-bottom layout. At the top, there is a mesh grill for airflow. Just below that, you have the motherboard IO cutout and the rear fan area, placed side by side. You can use either a 140mm or 120mm fan here. GameMax includes a 140mm fan pre-installed. There is rail mounting system for the fan, so you can adjust its height based on your setup. There are 7x PCIe slot covers that are reusable. At the bottom, there is a cutout for the power supply unit (PSU).

At the bottom of the case, there is a full-length dust filter that can be easily pulled out from the front. This makes it very easy to clean. The Leader 2 case stands on strong plastic feet, which provide good ground clearance. Under the feet, there are anti-slip pads in black colour to keep the case steady and prevent it from sliding.

Interior
Talking about the interior of the GAMEMAX Leader 2 case, after removing the tempered glass panel, the overall look shows that it is a very spacious case.

The motherboard tray, despite having several cutouts, feels solid and strong. It supports E-ATX motherboards and even the new BTF or Stealth motherboards. You can install GPUs up to 425mm, large radiators up to 420mm, PSUs up to 245mm, and air coolers up to 185mm in height. This gives you a lot of flexibility to build a powerful and clean-looking setup.

The PSU shroud is vented and has cutouts for motherboard and GPU cables. It also supports 2x120mm or 2x140mm fans on top. The shroud is fixed.

At the rear, there is a 140mm ARGB fan pre-installed. The case also includes 7 PCIe slots, which are removable and reusable. These slots are ventilated and can be accessed from the inside of the case.

GAMEMAX has added their new design branding throughout the Leader 2 case. For example, a plastic cable management cover is installed inside to help keep the case looking clean. This cover can also be repositioned when using an E-ATX motherboard. At the front, there are 3x140mm ARGB fans pre-installed, and you can install either a 360mm or even a 420mm radiator for efficient cooling.

Talking about the right side of the case, it has a solid white metal panel with a tool-free design. You can easily push and pull it to open or close. The panel also features the GAMEMAX Leader 2 branding.

After removing the side panel, you can see the overall internal layout. There are dedicated SSD mounts and three plastic straps to hold the main cables, which is a basic need in modern cases today. There are also several points provided for attaching cable ties to help with clean cable management. You’ll also find the ARGB + PWM fan hub here, which I already explained in detail in the accessories section. At the bottom, there’s space for the PSU along with an HDD cage for extra storage.

The PSU area has rubber pads, which shows that GAMEMAX has focused on small details — and I really liked that. The HDD cage is fixed with one screw and can hold either two 3.5″ drives or one 3.5″ and one 2.5″ drive. It gives good storage options.

IO Cables
The cables are flat, which makes them easier to manage and hide. The Leader 2 case also gives 32mm of space for cable management, so you can route your cables neatly without any trouble.
The I/O cables include:
- 1x USB Type-E connector
- 1x USB Type-A connector
- 1x HD Audio connector
- 1x Front panel connector

Test build and experience
I tested the GAMEMAX Leader 2 case with the following configuration:
- Intel Core i7-12700K
- Maxsun iCraft B760M CROSS motherboard
- GAMEMAX IceBurg 360 Digital WH cooler
- KingBank 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL36 (non-RGB)
- PNY RTX 3070 Ti GPU
- Silicon Power 2TB Gen 4 NVMe
- Lexar 512GB Gen 4 NVMe (for Windows)
Building in the GAMEMAX Leader 2 was very easy and comfortable because the case is quite spacious — and my build wasn’t too large either. I started by installing the RAM and both NVMe drives onto the motherboard, then placed the motherboard into the case.

Next, I installed the CPU cooler. Thanks to the spacious interior, I had no trouble fitting connectors or cooler pump screws — everything went in smoothly. After that, I connected the front panel cables to the motherboard, installed the graphics card, and finally added the power supply.

From the right side, the PSU slide easily into its place and rested nicely on the rubber pads. There was enough space for all the PSU cables, and none of them were bent or strained. Because both the case and PSU use flat, slim cables, I didn’t have to spend much time on cable management. The side panel also closed without any difficulty.

Thermals
The thermal testing was done with an ambient temperature of 27ᵒC and I have used AIDA64 Engineering Stress Test software for this purpose, using FPU and GPU.

As you can see, we have good thermal performance on both the graphics card and the CPU. Even though the outdoor temperature is quite high, the room temperature was around 27°C during testing — and still, the system stayed cool with very good temperatures.

Final verdict
The GAMEMAX Leader 2 is a well-designed and spacious PC case that is clearly made for next-gen builds. From the moment I unboxed it, I could see the attention to detail — from the bold lion-inspired front panel to the clean layout inside. The design feels fresh and powerful, and the white colour gives it a stylish and premium look.
The Leader 2 case is fully ready for modern and high-end hardware. It supports big components like E-ATX motherboards, 425mm long GPUs, 420mm liquid coolers, 245mm PSUs, and tall 185mm air coolers. It even supports new back-connector motherboards like ASUS BTF and Gigabyte Stealth. I used a RTX 3070 Ti in my test build, and the airflow kept everything cool. Even though the weather outside was very hot, my room temperature was around 27°C — and still, the case gave good thermal results. My RTX 5070 is on the way, and I’ll update this review later with the GPU installed and share thermals and photos.
The Leader 2 case comes with four 140mm ARGB PWM fans pre-installed and supports up to 9×120mm or 8×140mm fans total. The included ARGB + PWM hub with a remote makes lighting and fan control easy. You also get modern ports on the top panel, including a USB Type-C Gen 2, two USB 3.0 ports, and a combo audio jack.
Building in this case was very easy. There’s plenty of room, flat cables, and tool-free panels. The PSU shroud and cable management area are smartly designed with straps and tie points. You also get vertical GPU support and a clear tempered glass side panel to show off your build.
Overall, the GAMEMAX Leader 2 gives a great balance of design, cooling, space, and modern features. It’s a solid choice for gamers and PC builders who want a case that not only looks good but also performs well with next-gen components.
Thank you GAMEMAX for sending this amazing case for review
